About Tadaflo 20mg Tadalafil Tablets

Tadaflo is primarily used to treat erectile dysfunction in men. It improves blood flow to the penis, allowing males to achieve an erection. It is also used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia, or BPH.

Uses of this medicine

• This drug improves blood flow and oxygen delivery to the penis.

• It treats urinary symptoms caused by benign prostatic hyperplasia.

How does Tadaflo 20 work?

This medicine works by decreasing the effects of specific enzymes (PDE5) that reduce blood flow to the penis. As a result, it relaxes the blood vessels supplying the penis, increasing blood flow and oxygen supply.

The pill also relaxes the smooth muscles around the bladder and prostate gland, improving urine flow and lowering the unpleasant symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Directions for use

Take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor. Your physician will determine the appropriate dose and length of therapy for you based on your age, weight, and disease state.

• For pills: Swallow the medication with a glass of water. 

• For Orally Disintegrating Strip: Place the drug in your mouth until it dissolves on its own. Don't ingest, crush, or chew the medication.

Dosage

This medication is often prescribed at one dose per day. However, your doctor will decide the quantity of doses per day based on your age, weight, and disease status. Do not take the pill more than once per day without first consulting your doctor.

Missed Dosage 

If you miss a dosage, take it right away. However, if it is time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and take the following one at regular times. Do not take a double dose of Tadaflo to make up for the missed dose.

Overdose

 If you or someone else mistakenly took many pills at once, call your doctor or a nearby hospital.

• Flushing of the face

• Nasal congestion

• Indigestion

Rare side effects of this medication: 

• Bleeding from the penis

• Blood in semen

Stop taking this medicine and call your doctor right away if you suffer any of the following negative effects:

• Severe allergic reaction (such as wheezing, difficulty breathing, dizziness, swelling of the cheeks, lips, eyelids, or neck).

• Priapism

• Chest discomfort.

• A sudden decline or loss of vision

• Reduced hearing or abrupt hearing loss

Tadaflo 20 mg: Warnings and precautions

This medicine is not advised for use when you:

• Have severe hypotension or uncontrollable hypertension.

• Have Peyronie's disease.

• Have prostate cancer.

• Have a stomach ulcer or a bleeding illness, such as hemophilia.

• Have any kind of rare genetic eye condition (such as retinitis pigmentosa).

• Have sickle cell anemia.

• Have cancers of the blood (leukemia) or bone marrow (multiple myeloma).

• Have penile deformation

• Had any pelvis surgery in the past

Drug interactions:

Before taking this medicine, let your doctor know if you are taking any of the following medications:

• Nitrates or amyl nitrites

• Alpha blockers

• Riociguat (a medicine for BPH)

• Ketoconazole, Itraconazole

• Protease inhibitors

• Phenobarbital, phenytoin, and carbamazepine

• Rifampicin, erythromycin, and clarithromycin
  

Storage Condition

To keep the pills effective, store them at temperatures below 30°C. You must store them in an environment that is not extremely humid. It is also vital to keep these medications in a secure location out of reach of kids and pets at home.
